Githunguri To IKINU

Its on saturday and after a very long day of work its time to go home and my friend has a journey and a half.He has to be in Kirinyaga to night

So the driver gets out of the car and then after 5 minutes comes back with 2 cartons of fresha 500ml esl and a 5 litre pastuarized milk from Fresha Githunguri

We start the journey home at exactly 6 in the pm .

The nature here is mesmerizing..

The area IKINU to Githunguri is surrounded by trees majorly "mukima"

The farms are mainly filled by napier grass since Dairy farming is a major econimic activity here

We are now leaving Githunguri headed to IKINU town

Githunguri town is located on top of a range of hills.

Its just few kilometers from Aberdare ranges

Considering this car is familiar to Alan, in terms of shifting gears he would do it majestically from Gear One ,Two,Three..

From Githunguri Town to kiambu town it would take you 50 minutes since its quite a distance

Very fine views as am hitch hicking

I love the green here at Githunguri

The roads to Githunguri are very much accessible

Apart from a section as you enter IKINU which is worn out

Again the nature here is mesmerizing..

Probably if you ever happen to travel to IKINU

all the way to Githunguri

Travelling on a truck would be better

It gives you the best views of the dairy farmers farms

filled with fodder

making yoghurt is work

And fun

IKINU town is also a major town in kiambu
